The role is an internship opportunity for systems engineers at Northrop Grumman, focusing on technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, and analyses for total systems within the Space Systems Sector.

• Perform analyses at all levels of total system product including concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance, and disposal.
• Ensure logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions.
• Conduct functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation, and interface definition studies.
• Translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications.
• Support the Systems Engineering directorate in various technical tasks.
• Collaborate with other engineers and departments to achieve project goals.
• Participate in training and networking opportunities provided by the company.

• Must be a full-time student pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree in a STEM field.
• Must be enrolled full-time in Fall 2025 & Spring 2026.
• Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2026.
• Must be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
• Preferred overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher.
