The role is for an Electronics Engineer intern at Northrop Grumman, focusing on avionics integration. Responsibilities

  • Construct, troubleshoot, calibrate, adjust, test, and maintain equipment, components, devices, or systems.
  • Work from engineering drawings and written or verbal instructions.
  • Operate related equipment; conduct tests and report data in prescribed format.
  • Perform calibration and alignment checks; make adjustments, modifications, and replacements as directed.
  • Prepare prescribed compounds and solutions.
  • Interact with users, customers, and other developers in a team-focused environment.
  • Participate in a summer internship program for at least 10 weeks.

Job Requirements

  • Must be enrolled full-time in an undergraduate or graduate degree program in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related STEM field.
  • Must be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) during summer 2026.
  • Must be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship required).
  • Preferred GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
  • Previous internship/co-op experience is preferred.
  • Strong leadership, teamwork, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Must be enrolled full-time in Fall 2026.
