Responsibilities
- Design and build manufacturing fixtures & automation solutions
- Develop and maintain reimagined assembly processes
- Translate pilot production learnings to high volume manufacturing solutions
- Create robust process controls
- Implement in-line product testing & validation strategy
- Drive DFM to ensure scalability through product development
- Troubleshoot issues to find & resolve root causes to prevent recurrence
Job Requirements
- BS/MS/Ph.D. in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of industry mechanical engineering experience
- CAD expert (3+ years in Solidworks preferred)
- Experience in designing complex manufacturing systems
- Full scope manufacturing development experience from pilot through high-volume
- Machine design experience
- Project management and planning of complex deliverables
