Responsibilities
- Design components for the NEXTracker Horizon tracker.
- Manage engineering work using CAD/FEA software for mechanical/structural design.
- Participate in brainstorming sessions for future design improvements.
- Address time-sensitive manufacturing and production issues.
- Conduct finite element analysis and design optimization.
- Generate manufacturing drawings and prototypes.
- Collaborate with the mechanical engineering team.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and knowledge of model and tolerance standards.
- Experience in mechanical failure analysis and prototyping processes.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects effectively.
- Self-motivated and a team player.
- Willingness to travel for client site work.
