Responsibilities
- Contribute towards product design and engineering development of steel frame products.
- Participate in concept development, design, and engineering for new and existing products.
- Perform engineering work using CAD/FEA software for mechanical/structural design.
- Engage in brainstorming sessions to identify concepts and designs for improvements.
- Problem solve manufacturing and production issues affecting product launches.
- Collaborate with global suppliers and tooling partners to validate designs and optimize processes.
- Participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA) of issues discovered during pilot testing.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related field.
- 2+ years of relevant experience.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks, ePDM, and FEA (ANSYS preferred).
- Knowledge of drawings, model and tolerance standards, and application.
- Understanding of DFM for castings and sheet metal stampings.
- Experience in mass production manufacturing and part validation.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
