Responsibilities
- Perform tasks required in medical device product development for implanted devices and tools.
- Participate in project teams to deliver cross-functional solutions to technical problems.
- Design medical device components and fixtures.
- Update and review product CAD models and drawings; participate in Design Reviews.
- Interface with external vendors to develop prototypes.
- Analyze and document test results in a laboratory notebook.
- Conduct tests and document test reports.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (Mechanical, Aerospace, or Biomedical); Graduate degree is a plus.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a regulated industry; prior medical device experience preferred.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong theoretical knowledge in tolerance stack-up and solid modeling.
- Experience with manufacturing techniques such as plastic injection molding.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
