Responsibilities
- Drive answers to unstructured design questions through analysis and experimentation.
- Prototype solutions in both software and hardware.
- Integrate software and hardware and test the system in clinically relevant conditions.
- Participate in system design discussions to provide input to hardware and software teams.
- Contribute to system risk analysis.
- Assist in defining product requirements.
- Support clinical development labs while learning the clinical use case.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or similar.
- 0-3 years of hands-on experience in robotics or complex electromechanical systems.
- Expertise in mechatronics and robotics fundamentals including kinematics, dynamics, sensors, and actuators.
- Proficiency in Python or Matlab for scripting and data analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Willingness to work in a startup environment and adapt to changing needs.
- Eagerness to learn new things.
