Responsibilities
- Create designs using composite technology for robotic applications.
- Work with various catheter and endoscope technologies.
- Develop specifications and test protocols for medical devices.
- Lead design assessments and problem-solving initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and lead technical projects.
- Build and test prototypes of medical devices.
- Maintain CAD models and generate analytical documents.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 7+ years of hands-on engineering experience (12+ for Principal).
- Experience with cross-functional teams and medical device manufacturing.
- Proven ability to generate original ideas and contribute to IP.
- Strong design control knowledge for medical devices.
- Familiarity with composite structures and articulating endoscopes.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and experience in a startup environment.
