Responsibilities
- Develop instruments for a flexible robotic endoscopy platform.
- Create test methods, protocols, reports, and conclusions to enhance devices and processes.
- Design and build test fixtures with various components.
- Build and test multiple generations of prototypes.
- Collaborate with NPI and manufacturing using DFM principles.
- Maintain Solidworks CAD models and detailed drawings.
- Work within a regulated medical device environment, supporting risk management documentation.
Job Requirements
- B.S. or M.S. in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of hands-on mechanical engineering experience in medical devices.
- Proven experience in building and testing prototypes.
- Strong work ethic and desire to succeed as part of a team.
- Inventive aptitude with attention to detail.
- Experience in a start-up environment and product design.
- Proficiency in SolidWorks.
