Responsibilities

  • Conduct root cause analysis to investigate yield loss and nonconformances.
  • Develop and implement innovative solutions for product enhancements and cost reduction.
  • Assist in execution of design and process improvements and validation activities.
  • Author test methods, protocols, and detailed technical reports.
  • Generate detailed CAD component and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
  • Participate in supplier selection and qualification efforts.
  • Emphasize quality and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).

Job Requirements

  • Recent graduate or undergraduate majoring in Mechanical or Biomedical/Biomechanical Engineering.
  • Significant hands-on engineering experience and aptitude.
  • Demonstrated desire to work in a small, lean medical device start-up.
  • Strong attention to detail and inventive mindset.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Familiarity with risk management policies and practices.
  • Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
