Responsibilities
- Conduct root cause analysis to investigate yield loss and nonconformances.
- Develop and implement innovative solutions for product enhancements and cost reduction.
- Assist in execution of design and process improvements and validation activities.
- Author test methods, protocols, and detailed technical reports.
- Generate detailed CAD component and assembly drawings using SolidWorks.
- Participate in supplier selection and qualification efforts.
- Emphasize quality and compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Job Requirements
- Recent graduate or undergraduate majoring in Mechanical or Biomedical/Biomechanical Engineering.
- Significant hands-on engineering experience and aptitude.
- Demonstrated desire to work in a small, lean medical device start-up.
- Strong attention to detail and inventive mindset.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Familiarity with risk management policies and practices.
- Experience with CAD software, specifically SolidWorks.
