Responsibilities
- Program and deploy liquid handling robots.
- Troubleshoot liquid handling robots and work cells to support production.
- Build rapport with end-users and engineering colleagues.
- Deploy, optimize, support, and test automation systems and related software.
- Complete documentation using good documentation practices.
- Prepare User Requirement and Testing Procedures, Standard Operating Procedures, and related documents.
- Perform functional testing and qualification.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Biomedical engineering or a closely related field; MS preferred.
- 2+ years of laboratory automation engineering experience.
- Technical proficiency in automation and systems development for the life science industry, particularly with robotics and liquid handling systems.
- Experience in computer programming.
- Strong project management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Flexibility and initiative to manage multiple automation projects.
- Desirable experience in biotech, pharmaceutical, lab automation providers, or clinical laboratories.
