Responsibilities
- Apply fundamental engineering concepts to design automated production machinery.
- Investigate applicable technologies and components.
- Prototype, test, and iterate designs.
- Generate supporting design documentation.
- Handle controls and actuator sizing, interfacing, integration, and testing.
- Utilize 3D CAD software to create detailed drawings.
- Solve complex technical problems by breaking them down into manageable tasks.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- Experience in designing and building automated production machinery.
- Industrial experience with robot EOATs, work cell fixtures, or material handling systems.
- Knowledge of GD&T standards.
- Minimum of 2 years of mechanical design engineering experience.
- Preferred experience with FDA and/or EMA regulated industries.
- Proficiency with Onshape CAD and hands-on experience with prototyping tools.
