Responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision and strategy for robotics in the autonomous vehicle program.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a team of robotics and software engineers.
- Oversee architectural design and implementation of on-vehicle systems, including embedded software and AI accelerators.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safe and reliable architecture for the autonomous driving platform.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources to meet project goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in software, hardware accelerators, and real-time embedded systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and provide technical guidance on complex engineering challenges.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 10-15 years of experience in robotics, with leadership experience.
- Experience in autonomous vehicles or related fields with complex embedded applications.
- Proven ability to manage large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Track record of bringing complex embedded products from research to production.
- Expertise in Robotics, Complex Embedded Software Development, or Simulation for Autonomous Vehicles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
- Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in a relevant field preferred.
