Responsibilities
- Define the long-term vision and strategy for robotics within the autonomous vehicle program.
- Lead and mentor a team of robotics and software engineers.
- Oversee the architectural design and implementation of on-vehicle systems.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure safe and optimized architecture.
- Manage budgets, timelines, and resources for project goals.
- Serve as a subject matter expert in software, hardware accelerators, and real-time embedded systems.
- Stay updated on industry trends and provide technical guidance on engineering challenges.
Job Requirements
- 10-15 years of experience in robotics, with leadership experience.
- Experience in autonomous vehicles or related fields with complex embedded applications.
- Proven track record of managing large, multidisciplinary engineering teams.
- Experience in bringing complex embedded products from research to production.
- Expertise in robotics, complex embedded software development, or simulation for autonomous vehicles.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as C++ and Python.
- A Master's or Ph.D. in Robotics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field is preferred.
