Responsibilities
- Conduct design for manufacturability (DFM) analyses to assess product designs for assembly feasibility.
- Collaborate with design engineers and customer representatives on engineering drawings and manufacturability.
- Design and implement efficient assembly cells and workstations.
- Specify and procure tooling, fixtures, and equipment for assembly operations.
- Provide technical guidance and training to production personnel.
- Assist in equipment installation and integration with manufacturing systems.
- Develop and maintain assembly processes and work instructions.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing engineering, focusing on mechanical assembly.
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Experience with design for manufacturability (DFM) principles.
- Strong understanding of mechanical assembly techniques.
- Familiarity with lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
