Responsibilities
- Contribute to the conceptualization and design of automatically controlled mechanical/hydraulic test rigs
- Validate conceptual problem solutions through trade studies and analyses
- Prepare successful proposal designs, cost estimates, and technical reports
- Collaborate with other Test Equipment engineers as part of a design/development team
- Represent Moog in alignment with its technical reputation
- Create reliable designs through comprehensive experimental development testing
- Contribute to the evolution of conceptual design, technical project planning, detail design, and development testing
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
- 6+ years of Engineering work experience in Mechanical/Hydraulic Design, Test, or Manufacturing
- Experience in the development of mechanical assemblies or control systems
- Experience with hydraulic assemblies (e.g., Manifolds, Hydraulic Tubing, Valves)
- Experience in project team development programs
- Familiarity with electro-hydraulic, electromechanical, or electro-pneumatic servo-mechanisms
- Master’s Degree in Engineering is a plus
