Responsibilities
- Collaborate within a multi-disciplinary team to analyze, design, and test electrical components.
- Support the evolution of designs through project planning, detailed design, and testing phases.
- Coordinate with drafters, technicians, and vendors for new electrical console designs.
- Select COTS parts and electrical components for test console assemblies.
- Design electrical safety features for complex test systems.
- Develop custom cable harness assemblies for mechanical and hydraulic systems.
- Support the design and troubleshoot wiring schematics for electromechanical subassemblies.
Job Requirements
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- 2 or more years of experience in designing electronic devices in control systems.
- Knowledge of wiring/harness assemblies and electromechanical design standards.
- Basic knowledge of signal conditioning, electrical hardware design, and circuit analysis.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products.
- Basic understanding of sensor/transducer applications and control systems.
- Experience with schematic capture and circuit simulation software is a plus.
