Responsibilities
- Review vendor electrical controls designs against in-house standards.
- Utilize CAD tools and various electrical components for design and analysis.
- Collaborate with a cross-functional engineering team on manufacturing projects.
- Develop structured and maintainable code for automation processes.
- Support the development of simulation models for automated manufacturing.
- Assist in integrating equipment with production databases.
- Troubleshoot and implement continuous improvement projects.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- Basic understanding of electrical control panels and wiring.
- Familiarity with software fundamentals and CAD design software.
- Experience with software development and industrial machine vision cameras is preferred.
- Knowledge of coding for Microcontrollers or PLCs in major programming languages.
- Experience with tools for virtual commissioning is a plus.
- Understanding of web development languages and frameworks.
