Responsibilities
- Perform optical alignment and bond optical components.
- Build optical modules and manage data collection and basic analysis.
- Conduct experiments to validate and optimize optical assembly processes.
- Assemble optical fibers and build optical component sub-assemblies.
- Perform testing and calibration of optical modules.
- Set up and maintain lab stations and equipment.
- Manage lab materials and BOM inventory.
Job Requirements
- Technical or associate degree in Engineering, Physics, or related field.
- 1-3 years of hands-on experience or academic exposure to optical testing and assembly.
- Core practical skills or willingness to develop expertise in optical alignment.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office for data collection and documentation.
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and collaborative team player.
- Familiarity with optical components and testing equipment is a plus.
- Basic coding skills for data analysis (e.g., Python, MATLAB) are advantageous.
