Responsibilities
- Maintain liaison with R&D engineering, marketing, assembly, and quality functions.
- Take ownership of new products during the pilot production phase.
- Design, qualify, document, and introduce production and service assembly/test fixtures and equipment.
- Configure assembly processes and material handling towards lean manufacturing.
- Conduct testing to ensure process capability.
- Maintain accurate manufacturing documentation.
- Provide sustaining engineering support to production and assist in training staff.
Job Requirements
- Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T).
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and materials.
- Demonstrated electromechanical and/or process engineering capability.
- Proficiency in writing protocols and documenting test results.
- Familiarity with 3D solid modeling software (e.g., Solid Works, Solid Edge).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and lead cross-functional teams.
