Responsibilities
- Model and design mechanical and electro-mechanical parts and assemblies for high-volume production.
- Conduct mechanical design analysis including thermal, structural, and design for assembly.
- Develop engineering test plans for designs.
- Create drawing packages and manufacturing instructions for parts and assemblies.
- Collaborate with systems, electrical, software, and motion teams from concept to mass production.
- Manage hardware delivery timelines and ensure successful product deployment.
- Develop and qualify manufacturing processes and tooling.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical design or related field.
- Strong understanding of DfM, DfA, and DfR principles.
- Proven track record of delivering products to market.
- Strong organization, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Knowledge of GD&T, tolerance stacks, and engineering documentation.
- Experience with Onshape and/or Solidworks.
- Familiarity with PLM systems and engineering change management.
