Responsibilities
- Define hardware requirements and perform system-level design trades for Flippy deployment.
- Collaborate with product managers and engineering teams to optimize designs for customer needs.
- Contribute to the development cycle of Flippy's robot subsystems.
- Design and build mechanical and electro-mechanical modules for Flippy.
- Implement testing protocols and maintain documentation for Flippy's deployment.
- Collaborate with the Supply Chain team to evaluate component suppliers.
- Manage inventory and BOM for Flippy parts.
Job Requirements
- BS degree in Mechanical Engineering.
- 3-5 years of experience in designing and testing AI-powered mechanical systems.
- Proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks or OnShape preferred).
- Experience using PLM systems and performing machine design analysis.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes and rapid prototyping.
- Experience in integrating automated systems during deployment.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
