Responsibilities
- Evaluating risk associated with technical problems in program progression.
- Utilizing expertise in materials science to provide guidance on technical issues.
- Writing and presenting technical reports with recommendations.
- Coordinating efforts to solve technical issues within program risk tolerances.
- Conducting material tests in a laboratory setting.
- Synthesizing information from various sources to support engineering decisions.
- Engaging in problem-solving processes to drive real-world solutions.
Job Requirements
- Pursuing an engineering degree related to materials science, metallurgy, polymers, or electronic components.
- Background in laboratory work and material testing.
- Strong understanding of the problem-solving process.
- Ability to synthesize information from different sources.
- Active enrollment in an accredited post-secondary program with at least one semester remaining.
- Must be a U.S. citizen and eligible for security clearance.
- Willingness to apply for and maintain a security clearance.
