Responsibilities
- Develop schematics and bill of materials (BOM) to meet design requirements.
- Create motherboard floorplan and layout in collaboration with Mechanical Engineering and Thermal teams.
- Design, build, and test rapid prototypes for new product ideas or technology concepts.
- Create design documentation and develop schematics and board layout to meet system design requirements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to optimize the overall system from concept to completion.
- Use simulation and lab measurement data to support design troubleshooting and propose corrective actions.
- Work with suppliers and contractors to ensure timely and high-quality product development.
Job Requirements
- Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field AND 1+ year(s) technical experience, OR Bachelor's Degree AND 2+ years experience.
- Foundational understanding of electrical engineering fundamentals and PCB materials.
- Proven problem-solving and debugging skills with core engineering principles.
- 4+ years of experience in designing high-volume consumer electronics products preferred.
- Familiarity with high-speed interface protocols and electrical measurement equipment.
- Hands-on design experience in various electronic domains including RF, analog, and digital.
- Strong communication skills for conveying technical concepts clearly.
