Responsibilities
- Develop physics-based and/or data-driven battery models using internal and external data.
- Translate aging modes/mechanisms into new and existing models.
- Create and oversee testing/DoEs to parameterize models and validate performance.
- Apply models to improve engineering processes and workflows.
- Define future simulation/modeling capabilities and strategy.
- Serve as the technical lead and point of contact for battery simulation/modeling.
- Guide next-generation battery data analytics.
Job Requirements
- Doctorate or Master’s in relevant fields with corresponding years of experience in battery technology.
- Expertise in battery modeling and analytics, particularly in electrochemistry and thermal dynamics.
- Proficient in tools such as PyBamm, COMSOL, GT Suite, and Simulink.
- Skilled in Python for data manipulation and automation.
- Familiarity with emerging battery technologies for consumer electronics.
- Strong communication skills and collaborative experience in technical discussions.
- Deep curiosity for machine learning and AI related to battery behavior.
