Responsibilities
- Assist Mechanical Engineers with bus structure and air systems.
- Engage in research and investigations related to bus functions and components.
- Create and maintain technical drawings using CAD software.
- Write specifications and procedures.
- Prepare estimates of quantities for projects.
- Participate in other mechanical engineering tasks as required.
- Ensure compliance with specifications and standards.
Job Requirements
- Baccalaureate degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.
- One year of full-time experience in mechanical engineering work or a Master’s degree in mechanical engineering.
- Knowledge of engineering principles applied to equipment.
- Experience in a rapid transit environment.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency in CAD software and Microsoft Office.
- Ability to engage in research and technical writing.
