Responsibilities
- Develop physics-based thermal models using programming languages such as MatLAB, Python, or Julia.
- Support the design, development, and optimization of part, sub-system, and system-level designs.
- Create part and sub-system thermal models using CFD and CAD tools.
- Optimize thermal designs while integrating new thermal technologies.
- Support thermal verification through prototype testing.
- Develop thermal control systems and build prototypes for testing on physical hardware.
- Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, and software engineers.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in heat transfer, thermal/fluid sciences, or related physics (must be completed before joining).
- Experience in thermal design, modeling/analysis, or related fields.
- Fundamentals in heat transfer and thermal/fluid sciences.
- Background in modeling using CAD and CFD tools.
- Experience in empirical testing and model correlation.
- Programming experience with scripting languages such as MatLab, Python, or Julia.
- Ability to solve complex problems and work collaboratively in a team environment.
