Responsibilities
- Characterize and optimize features/algorithms in the Meta product stack to enhance user experience.
- Collaborate with engineering teams on product performance and efficiency issues.
- Conduct competitive analysis and benchmarking for Real Time Communication and video applications.
- Develop actionable problem statements and engage partner teams for solutions.
- Modify Meta production software for proof of concept or final implementation.
- Work with Ecosystem, Telco Partnership, and Policy teams for technical support and due diligence with CSPs.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Background in communication systems and networking with knowledge of communication protocols.
- Experience in wireless networking technologies and standards.
- Proficiency in big data analysis and network performance optimization.
- Skills in programming/scripting languages such as Matlab, Python, C/C++, ns-3.
- MS or PhD in EE, Computer Science or Data Science with a minimum of 4 years of industry experience.
- Preferred hands-on experience with network debugging tools and knowledge of machine learning.
