Responsibilities
- Partner with internal hardware design teams to develop high fidelity prototypes for mass production.
- Influence product design decisions and collaborate with operations for manufacturing scalability focusing on miniaturization, quality, and reliability.
- Investigate and evaluate new materials and processes to meet project requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for system integration, advising design engineers on manufacturability.
- Bridge the gap between prototypes and high-volume manufacturing operations.
- Collaborate within the engineering community to solve complex problems and implement solutions.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- 5+ years of industry experience in electrical design.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Experience designing complex/miniaturized board designs and working with fabrication and assembly vendors.
- Proficiency with oscilloscopes and high-speed digital test equipment.
- Preferred: Master's degree in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of experience.
