Responsibilities
- Partner with hardware design teams from conceptual stages to high-fidelity prototypes, ensuring a clear path to mass production.
- Influence product design and collaborate with operations to scale manufacturing with a focus on miniaturization, quality, and reliability.
- Investigate and develop new materials and processes to meet project requirements.
- Serve as the primary contact for system integration, advising on design for assembly and manufacturability.
- Bridge the gap between prototype engineering and high-volume manufacturing.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex problems and implement solutions.
- Travel domestically and internationally as needed.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of industry experience in electrical design.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
- Experience with schematic and board design using Cadence OrCAD, Altium, or equivalent.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related fields.
- Experience designing complex/miniaturized board designs and working with fabrication and assembly vendors.
- Proficiency in using oscilloscopes and high-speed digital test equipment.
- Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and additional years of experience in electrical design and product-level failure mode investigation techniques.
