Responsibilities
- Work across the full product development cycle from concept to shipping.
- Build system-level and module-level finite element models to assess failure risks.
- Perform module-level shock and thermo-mechanical analyses.
- Participate in structural design reviews and present FEA results.
- Collaborate with materials team and vendors for material characterization.
- Work with REL & DVE teams on FEA model validation and technical specifications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or relevant field.
- 1+ years of experience with FEA software (HyperMesh, SimLab, Abaqus, ANSYS).
- Understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis.
- Proven analytical skills based on first principles.
- Experience in static and dynamic finite element analysis.
- Must have work authorization at the time of hire.
- Preferred: MS in Mechanical Engineering and experience with 3D modeling software.
