Responsibilities
- Work across the full product development cycle from concept to shipping.
- Build system-level and module-level finite element models to assess risks of failure modes.
- Perform module-level shock and thermo-mechanical analyses.
- Organize and lead structural design reviews and present FEA results.
- Collaborate with materials teams and vendors for material characterization.
- Work with REL & DVE teams on FEA model validation.
- Develop technical specifications based on analyses.
Job Requirements
- MS in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience with FEA software (e.g., HyperMesh, ANSYS).
- Fundamental understanding of solid mechanics and finite element analysis.
- Experience in static and dynamic finite element analysis.
- Proven analytical and communication skills.
- Experience in modeling material behavior and failure.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
