Responsibilities
- Build partnerships with infrastructure partners to define hardware design requirements.
- Lead hardware architecture reviews and address potential design gaps.
- Perform mechanical and electrical design for robotics applications.
- Lead proof-of-concept developments and conduct thorough analysis and testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers for hardware and software integration.
- Optimize hardware assembly processes and lead DFx efforts.
- Mentor team members and provide technical support throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, Robotics or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in hardware lifecycle management.
- Expert understanding of mechanical engineering principles.
- Proficiency in CAD software for 3D modeling.
- Hands-on experience with rapid prototyping and manufacturing processes.
- Effective communication skills and experience in cross-functional teams.
- Experience in the end-to-end hardware development life cycle.
