Responsibilities
- Build partnerships with infrastructure partners to define hardware design requirements.
- Lead hardware architecture reviews to ensure solution performance and scalability.
- Conduct mechanical and electrical design for robotics applications.
- Develop hardware proof-of-concept and perform thorough analysis and testing.
- Collaborate with software engineers for hardware-software integration.
- Lead DFx efforts and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Mentor team members and provide technical support throughout the development lifecycle.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Robotics, or equivalent.
- 10+ years of experience in hardware lifecycle management.
- Expertise in mechanical engineering principles and CAD software.
- Proficiency in electrical engineering concepts and rapid prototyping techniques.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes relevant to robotics hardware.
- Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities.
- Experience in end-to-end hardware development life cycle and agile development processes.
