Responsibilities
- Conduct foundational and applied research in robotics simulation, including physics-based modeling and optimization.
- Advance learning-based approaches in robotics, including reinforcement learning and imitation learning.
- Design and build high-performance simulation environments for various robots and sensors.
- Integrate leading physics engines with 3D assets and control frameworks.
- Collaborate with teams across robotics, graphics, and AI.
- Evaluate and benchmark simulation fidelity and performance across robotics tasks.
- Develop scalable, realistic simulation tools for real-world applications.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or relevant technical field.
- PhD in Robotics, Computer Graphics, Computer Vision, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in robotics, physics simulation, or related areas.
- Proficiency in C/C++ and Python programming.
- Experience with robotics simulation platforms such as Mujoco and Gazebo.
- Familiarity with deep learning frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow.
- Ability to obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
