Responsibilities
- Research and develop the next generation of soft wearable technologies.
- Collaborate with the Reality Labs team to provide creative solutions for soft wearables and sensing technologies.
- Design, prototype, and characterize novel wearable, acoustics-based sensors.
- Address fundamental scientific and engineering questions related to soft wearable technologies.
- Communicate or publish research findings to interdisciplinary collaborators.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing a PhD in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Science, Aerospace Engineering, Physics, or related fields.
- 2+ years of experience in hardware prototyping and soft wearable technologies.
- 2+ years of experience with FEM simulation.
- Strong systematic thinking and cross-group collaboration skills.
- Must obtain work authorization in the country of employment.
- Intent to return to degree program after internship completion.
- Availability for a minimum of 16 consecutive weeks.
