Responsibilities
- Own back-end services for fleet management and front-end services like WhatsApp, Instagram, and Facebook.
- Write and review code, develop documentation, and debug complex problems in large systems.
- Share on-call rotation and act as an escalation contact for service incidents.
- Collaborate with top engineers on impactful projects used by billions globally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field.
- 7+ years of experience in UNIX and TCP/IP network fundamentals.
- 7+ years of coding experience.
- Familiarity with development languages such as Python, C++, Rust, PHP/Hack, Go, Java.
- Knowledge of Internet service architecture and capacity planning.
- Experience with infrastructure-level applications like Kubernetes, Terraform, and MySQL.
- Preferred: BS or MS in Computer Science.
