Responsibilities
- Lead Mechanical Engineering workstreams for electromechanical sensor integration onto wearable hardware.
- Deliver robust mechanical designs from concept to production through a full technology and product development cycle.
- Partner with researchers and engineers to develop wearable architectures for AR/VR interaction.
- Engage with Contract Manufacturers and Joint Development Manufacturers to produce high-quality devices.
- Ensure mechanical aspects of development, performance, and reliability are met for program success.
- Explore new technologies and develop proof-of-concepts for EMG hardware platforms.
- Collaborate with diverse teams focused on advancing AR/VR experiences.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering or similar field.
- 2+ years of experience in 3D CAD modeling (NX, Creo, SolidWorks).
- 2+ years of advanced design or R&D experience with electromechanical sensors.
- Experience with manufacturing techniques (machining, 3D printing, injection molding).
- Demonstrated experience with PCB/PCBA, FPC/FPCA design and integration.
- Ability to apply first principles to complex technical problems.
- Preferred: Experience developing designs for wearable technologies and leading overseas suppliers.
