Responsibilities
- Lead mechanical team through the full product development cycle to deliver mechanical component/subsystem designs from concept to production.
- Define and execute long-term roadmaps in collaboration with hardware and research teams.
- Partner with researchers to advance TRL of component technology and de-risk integration.
- Mentor and coach other mechanical engineers.
- Influence business strategy and research portfolio with technical knowledge.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 10+ years of experience developing high-volume consumer products with stringent SWAP-C constraints.
- 10+ years of experience in 3D CAD modeling (NX or similar).
- Experience in advancing design and manufacturing technologies for world-class products.
- Ability to influence VPs & Directors on business strategy.
