Responsibilities
- Lead all analog and power system architecture and charging architecture.
- Select chipsets and integrate systems for battery-powered products.
- Create power models to estimate battery usage and design power circuits.
- Generate design documentation and perform simulations for power delivery networks.
- Characterize power consumption and battery performance during new product introductions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive power consumption optimization.
- Evaluate innovative solutions for cost, size, efficiency, safety, and reliability.
Job Requirements
- BS or MS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 6+ years of experience in low power design in consumer electronics.
- Knowledge of power conversion characteristics and battery management systems.
- Experience with printed circuit board technologies.
- Preferred: 8+ years in low voltage power design and advanced degrees in relevant fields.
- Experience with power measurements and system integration.
- Leadership experience with technical teams and cross-functional groups.
