Responsibilities
- Explore architectures and design spaces for AR optical systems.
- Develop and analyze system and subsystem components for advanced AR products.
- Perform detailed system-level analysis, including optical modeling and tolerancing.
- Collaborate with external vendors and internal teams to mature optical systems.
- Contribute to design releases, prototyping, and documentation processes.
- Collaborate with internal research teams for technology adoption.
- Manage virtual teams to bring systems from concept to pre-mass production.
Job Requirements
- Master's degree or equivalent experience in relevant fields.
- 5+ years of experience in optics or photonic systems development.
- Proficiency in optical systems involving imaging and illumination.
- Experience in maturing optical systems from concept to production.
- Knowledge of optical design tools and modeling methods.
- Experience working in cross-functional environments.
- Familiarity with programming languages like Code V, Zemax, MATLAB, Python, or C++.
