Responsibilities
- Collaborate with design and delivery teams, engineers of record, and contractors to resolve design-related issues.
- Ensure design deliverables meet requirements and service level agreements.
- Drive accountability for design deliverables and advise on schedule compression opportunities.
- Anticipate and mitigate potential design quality issues.
- Support cost estimates for design changes and monitor mechanical-related expenses.
- Participate in factory tests and onsite testing to ensure proper installation and commissioning of mechanical systems.
- Maintain project documentation and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering and Licensed Professional Engineer.
- 10+ years of experience in mission critical building design and construction.
- Expertise in HVAC and plumbing systems, fire protection systems, and industry standards.
- Proven analytical, troubleshooting, and project management skills.
- Effective communication and presentation skills.
- Familiarity with design software such as Autodesk Construction Cloud and Revit is preferred.
- Experience with liquid cooling systems and construction cost estimating processes is a plus.
