Responsibilities
- Research and develop new data center cooling technologies to improve cost, reliability, and efficiency.
- Lead and assist in new product designs, integrating technological advancements while considering business priorities.
- Collaborate with various engineering teams for optimized product design.
- Drive cross-functional collaboration with Meta teams for successful project execution.
- Manage mechanical systems strategies and infrastructure designs for data centers.
- Lead R&D projects for cooling technologies, including proof of concept studies and pilot deployments.
- Stay updated on industry trends through collaboration with peers and organizations.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 15 years of mechanical engineering design and R&D experience in mission-critical systems.
- Knowledge of heat absorption and rejection systems in data centers.
- Proven analytical and troubleshooting skills.
- Effective communication skills across various levels of the organization.
- Preferred: Advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering, Professional Engineer registration, and experience in reliability modeling and cost estimating methodologies.
