Responsibilities
- Partner with internal hardware design teams from conceptual stages to high fidelity prototypes.
- Influence product design decisions for miniaturization and collaborate with operations for manufacturing scalability.
- Investigate and evaluate new materials and processes with vendors to meet miniaturization requirements.
- Advise design engineers on system integration and manufacturability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve problems and implement solutions.
- Travel both domestically and internationally.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of industry experience in complex miniaturized board designs.
- Proficiency in EDA tools and layout experience.
- Knowledge of PCB/FPC/RFPC fabrication processes.
- Experience in high-volume manufacturing engineering processes.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience with semiconductor packaging and reliability analysis techniques.
