Responsibilities
- Partner with internal hardware design teams from conceptual stages to high fidelity prototypes.
- Influence product design decisions for miniaturization while ensuring quality and reliability.
- Investigate and evaluate new materials and processes with vendors to meet miniaturization requirements.
- Advise on system integration for design for assembly and manufacturability.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to solve complex problems and implement solutions.
- Travel domestically and internationally as required.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in complex/miniaturized board designs (PCB/FPC/RFPC).
- Proficiency in EDA tools and layout experience.
- Knowledge of PCB/FPC/RFPC fabrication processes and design rules.
- Experience with high-volume manufacturing engineering processes.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams for board design integration.
- Preferred: Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering and experience with semiconductor packaging.
