Responsibilities
- Contribute to the development of complex subsystems and own the development of moderately complex subsystems.
- Design schematics, evaluate components, direct board layout, conduct design reviews, and draft design documentation.
- Manage bring-up and debug processes, and support manufacturing and assembly builds.
- Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to develop systems and manage trade-offs across various engineering domains.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and transform them into custom solutions.
- Work in a distributed team environment.
- Contribute to building and sustaining the internal Meta community through recruitment and mentorship.
Job Requirements
- Currently pursuing or has obtained a Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field.
- Proven knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals, particularly in analog.
- Experience with schematic and board design using tools like Cadence OrCAD or Altium.
- Familiarity with high-speed digital test equipment and oscilloscopes.
- Must have work authorization in the country of employment at the time of hire.
- Preferred experience in programming, particularly in Python.
- Experience in consumer electronics or mass production environments is a plus.
