Responsibilities
- Own electrical development of complex subsystems or moderately complex systems.
- Lead schematic design, board layout, and cross-functional design reviews.
- Propose innovative solutions to enhance system or product performance, reliability, and features.
- Manage hardware bring-up, debugging, and support for manufacturing, assembly, or deployment.
- Evaluate vendor reference designs and adapt them to Meta’s requirements.
- Provide technical guidance and support to engineers.
- Collaborate in a distributed team environment and across engineering disciplines.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related field.
- 6+ years of professional experience in electrical design, development, and validation.
- Expertise in designing and troubleshooting complex electrical systems or subsystems.
- Proficiency in interpreting and creating electrical schematics and designing physical layouts.
- Experience collaborating across engineering disciplines and with external partners.
- Preferred MS or PhD in Electrical Engineering with emphasis in Power Electronics.
- Experience with power delivery validation and design of DC-DC voltage regulators.
