Responsibilities
- Design network topologies and configurations for Data Center Fabric networks
- Develop IP addressing and routing policy intent in the Data Center
- Create deployment packages and maintain as-built documentation for installed network gear
- Establish and implement global best practices and contribute to scalable network solutions
- Define and partner with network hardware, software, and vendor teams on network platform development
- Collaborate with in-house teams to codify network designs
- Participate in an on-call rotation to support the global data center network infrastructure 24x7
Job Requirements
- 8+ years of experience in designing, deploying, and operating large-scale networks
- Experience with routing and switching protocols (BGP, IS-IS, OSPF, MPLS, RSVP-TE)
- Knowledge of network protocols (TCP/UDP, DHCP, DNS) and IPv4/IPv6
- Hands-on experience with networking hardware in a multi-vendor environment
- Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Go, C/C++) for automation software
- Understanding of physical infrastructure design, including structured and fiber-optic cabling
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant technical field
