Responsibilities
- Perform hands-on operations and maintenance tasks to ensure system efficiency and safety.
- Complete work order requests accurately using an enterprise asset management system.
- Maintain technical knowledge of data center infrastructure and operations.
- Respond to data center facility emergencies following Meta procedures.
- Regularly inspect equipment and grounds for safety and operational integrity.
- Troubleshoot and recommend system upgrades as needed.
- Collaborate with vendors and contractors for maintenance and service.
Job Requirements
- 6+ years of experience in a technical maintenance field (electrical, HVAC, mechanical).
- Associate's degree in engineering or Bachelor's degree in a related field with relevant experience.
- Physical ability to perform maintenance tasks, including lifting and prolonged standing.
- Preferred knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and life safety systems.
- Experience with EAM/CMMS systems and interpreting blueprints/CAD drawings.
- Trade Certification or state licensure in Electrical or Mechanical (HVAC) preferred.
- 8+ years experience in a data center or critical environment is preferred.
