Responsibilities
- Achieve impact through collaboration across multiple sites and time-zones.
- Collaborate closely with mechanical groups and cross-functional partners.
- Leverage external teams, including vendors and manufacturers.
- Deliver work across the full product development cycle.
- Lead the design of complex micro-plastic mechanical solutions for audio components.
- Model, build, test, and refine prototypes.
- Facilitate demo hardware and test fixtures, including travel to vendors.
Job Requirements
- BS in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
- 4+ years of experience in product design and development of micro-speakers.
- Technical leadership experience in engineering.
- Proficiency in DFM, DFA, and CAD tools.
- Knowledge of material properties and high-volume manufacturing techniques.
- Experience in testing and analysis methodologies.
- Preferred: MS or PhD in Mechanical Engineering and experience with NX CAD.
