Responsibilities
- Analyze workforce utilization and equipment layouts to maximize efficiency.
- Develop and implement staging areas and kanban systems to streamline workflow.
- Manage factory layouts and work instructions to align with production requirements.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives and implement lean manufacturing principles.
- Coach team members on lean principles to foster a culture of efficiency.
- Review production engineering documentation to ensure accuracy.
- Collaborate with plant supervisors on efficient production planning.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably with sheet metal fabrication.
- Strong proficiency in manufacturing processes and lean principles.
- Competency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with Autodesk Inventor and CNC programming preferred.
- Exceptional analytical skills.
