Responsibilities
- Design and develop manufacturing processes, procedures, and work instructions.
- Identify and implement improvements to enhance efficiency, productivity, and safety.
- Collaborate with design engineers to ensure manufacturability of new products.
- Analyze production data to identify bottlenecks and implement corrective actions.
- Evaluate manufacturing equipment and technologies; oversee integration into production lines.
- Lead Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives.
- Collaborate with the quality team to maintain quality control procedures.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in manufacturing engineering, industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
- 2-4 years of manufacturing experience, preferably in the defense or aerospace industry.
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and technologies.
- Familiarity with industry standards and regulations (AS9100, ITAR, NADCAP).
- Proficiency in CAD/CAM software.
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex data.
