Electrical Engineering Intern

Responsibilities

  • Support hardware design, development, integration, and testing with experienced electrical engineers.
  • Participate throughout the development lifecycle, including schematic design and design verification testing.
  • Design, develop, and verify complex circuits or submodules using schematic capture tools.
  • Assist with product validation testing, including EMC and thermal stress screening.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Mechanical Engineering and Manufacturing.
  • Troubleshoot manufacturing issues and assist in field failure investigations.
  • Create and maintain Bills of Material (BoMs) and draft Engineering Change Requests (ECRs).

Job Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or computer engineering.
  • Minimum GPA of 3.1 required.
  • Basic understanding of high-speed digital and analog circuitry.
  • Familiarity with electronic schematic tools and digital test equipment.
  • Strong organizational, verbal, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Preferred: Hands-on lab experience and prior internship or co-op experience related to hardware design.
