Responsibilities
- Negotiate within the business to improve overall product reliability through increased standards and accountability.
- Plan and execute complex medical device product development programs design verification and reliability test strategy.
- Collaborate with systems engineering and product development teams to evaluate designs across multiple product interfaces.
- Lead the development and modification of plans, reports, protocols, and data summaries for product reliability demonstration.
- Use statistical techniques to inform design decision-making for test method validations and reliability demonstration activities.
- Partner with teams to review risk management deliverables and develop test methodologies.
- Participate in project teams and technical review boards to coordinate quality decisions across engineering groups.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or Master’s degree with 2 years, or PhD with no experience.
- Experience in product design verification methods and principles.
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and data interpretation.
- Strong understanding of risk management and robust design principles.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Experience in medical device product development is preferred.
- Excellent documentation and communication skills.
