Responsibilities
- Lead and support project development efforts for solar and battery storage projects.
- Prepare engineering design drawings, specifications, and bid documents.
- Perform energy and savings calculations using various modeling software and tools.
- Generate conceptual designs for Solar and Energy Storage that meet client needs.
- Manage third-party engineer of records (EOR) drawing sets related to solar and battery storage.
- Communicate technical solutions and collaborate with other departments.
- Demonstrate proficiency in writing and reviewing technical documentation.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in engineering or related field required; Master's degree preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in the solar and/or energy storage commercial industry.
- Understanding of various calculation methods and modeling platforms.
- Knowledge of building and energy codes, including National Electric Code.
- Familiarity with Energy Services Performance Contracting and Power Purchase Agreements.
- NABCEP registration, LEED Registration, or EIT professional designation preferred.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite required.
